Course Description

This course is designed to prepare students for college calculus. It begins with a thorough review and extension of the study of functions, including polynomial, logarithmic, exponential, and rational functions. The course then proceeds through the study of circular and triangular trigonometry and vectors. Students enrolling in this course will be expected to apply concepts in novel situations and devote time to written assignments comparable to an equivalent college course.
